Base: 1 cup flour 2 tbs icing sugar 1/2 cup butter Mix together and spread into a 8 x 8 pan. Bake at 350 F for 12 minutes.Remove from oven.
Topping: 2 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 cup flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/8 tsp. salt 1 cup nuts 1/2 cup cherries 1/2 cup coconut
Mix all together and spread over base. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
